The school of religious education attached to a mosque is known as Madrasa in Bangladesh. The Madrasa is so popular for the Bangladeshi people. Almost in every village there are several Madrasa.

Madrasa is dependent on public charity and endowments. Most of these institutions had poor physical facilities and equipment. In Madrasa the children start their education very early in the morning i.e. 3 o’clock in the morning.
